Killing the Butcher in Lost Vale the easy way

If people are having problems killing this boss then the following strategy may help. One of the worst aspects of this fight is that the Gnoblar hits like a truck so dealing with him and the Butcher can be a real pain.

The easy-mode solution to dealing with the Gnoblar is as follows,

When the encounter starts, have your off-tank get Gnoblar aggro, and then as fast as possible drop Gnobbie to 2-3% health and then don't hit him again. Your Off tank then sprint-kites Gnobbie around a large circle (Take him out the far end of the encounter area, and run him back up to the main entrance, through the encounter area, etc...) while the rest of the crew single-target drops the butcher. The result is that you then have no AoEs...none...nada. The trick is to keep the gnoblar alive for the whole fight. Assuming your off tank can handle the kite it works like a charm.
